Moles, cysts and skin tags are a common skin concern for many people. An average adult has between 10-40 moles and come in all shapes and sizes.
Whilst many moles cause no concern it is important for them to be checked over by your GP before having them removed.

People often dislike their moles or skin tags either aesthetically or the location. When removing these it is important it is done by plastic surgeon to ensure the procedure is done correctly and to avoid any potential under lying issues being missed.

Mole, Cyst and Skin tag removal can be done under local anaesthetic. The concerned mole, cyst or tag is removed with a curettage, leaving a small scar which will fade over time. Procedure time is quick and minimal downtime needed. Using precise techniques scarring is kept to a minimum and the area treated is unlikely to grow back.

Once the mole is removed if required it will be sent to histology to check for any underlying issues.
